StarLife Insurance Unveils Year-Long Activities to Mark 20th Anniversary
StarLife Insurance has unveiled a comprehensive year-long program of activities to commemorate its 20th anniversary, under the theme “Trust is Timeless.”
Speaking at the company’s Thanksgiving service, which officially opened the anniversary celebrations on 1st September 2025, the Head of Brands and Communications, Mrs. Mercy Simpson Jiage, highlighted that the anniversary month is October, but the celebrations will continue through to October 2026.
“Our anniversary activities are a mixed bag. We are celebrating our clients primarily, but we will also recognize our partners, and of course, our staff, because this is our anniversary and they need to benefit from it,” she said.

As part of the celebrations, StarLife will roll out three major social impact activities spread across the year. The first, scheduled for this month, is a donation exercise to Precious Feet International, an orphanage for children with disabilities. The company has already partnered with a medical team at the 37 Military Hospital to support corrective surgeries for some of the children.
The second initiative, to be held in 2026, is the Star Volunteer Program, which will see staff across all regions — from Tema to Yendi — engage in community-focused projects of their choice. The final activity remains a surprise, to be unveiled later in the year.
Beyond community initiatives, the company has lined up staff-centered activities, including monthly in-house engagements, social events, and parties to foster teamwork and boost morale. StarLife also plans to host client appreciation events, social media campaigns, and trivia contests with exciting prizes for its loyal customers.
Mrs. Jiage also announced that the company will host a grand Thanksgiving service in January 2026 alongside its parent company, Star Assurance Group, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The event will bring together all five subsidiaries, partners, and stakeholders to thank God for the journey so far.
Reflecting on StarLife’s growth since its establishment in 2005, Mrs. Jiage reiterated the company’s commitment to building trust. “For 20 years, many of our clients have trusted us, and we haven’t defaulted in any way. We are asking our clients to keep trusting us for another 20 years and beyond.”
