GPCC Urges Leaders to Serve with Integrity and Diligence

At the 2025 Conference of Heads of Churches and Organisations, held on February 5, 2025, at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC) in Gomoa Fetteh, the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) called on government leaders to uphold public trust by serving with humility and diligence.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, GPCC’s First Vice President, Bishop Dr. Gordon Kisseih who also served as the Chairman of the Conference, emphasized the responsibility entrusted to leaders. “Leadership is when you are put in a position of trust. You are given authority, and you are a steward,” he stated. He urged public officials to remember that both Ghanaians and God would hold them accountable for their actions. “The people of Ghana have given them the responsibility to lead our nation, so they should do the best they can,” he added.

Call for Sustained Peace
Addressing concerns about post-election misconduct, Bishop Dr. Kisseih, who is also the Founder of Life International Church, stressed the need for peace to remain a continuous effort for national stability and growth.
“We called for peace before the elections, and Ghanaians responded positively. But peace is not just for a moment—it must be sustained. Even when grievances arise, let’s resolve them through peaceful means,” he advised.
Bishop Dr. Kisseih also charged the clergy to be beacons of light in society, inspiring others to uphold peace, integrity, and national progress.
Themed “Shining like Stars in a Perverse World,” the conference provided a platform for church leaders from across the country to discuss matters of faith, national development, and the church’s role in shaping society. The GPCC Conference continues to be a significant platform for uniting Christian leaders in prayer, sharing insights, and contributing to Ghana’s progress through faith-based leadership.
