GPCC Prepares for 2024 National Delegates Conference at Royalhouse Chapel

The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) is gearing up for its highly anticipated 2024 National Delegates Conference scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the Royalhouse Chapel, Ahenfie.

Due to the expectations people have of this conference, members and church leaders are eager to participate and contribute to the discussions and decisions that will shape the future of the council.

In an interview with GPCC NEWS, the General Secretary of GPCC, Apostle Immanuel Tettey said, “during the conference, the GPCC will present a comprehensive report on the Council’s current affairs, along with the financial statement for the year 2023, ensuring transparency and accountability to its members”.

Expectations

Talking about what participants should expect, he noted that, the conference will also provide an opportunity for member churches to raise any concerns or questions they may have, allowing for open dialogue and resolution.

A significant highlight of this year’s conference will be the admission of member churches who have completed their two -year probationary period into full membership of the GPCC, the General secretary stated.

“This demonstrates the council’s commitment to expanding its network and fostering unity within the Christian community,” Apostle Tettey added.

Stakeholders

In addition to internal matters, the General Secretary explained that, the conference will feature external speakers, including the Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, as well as representatives from the Christian Council and the National Association of Charismatic Christian Churches.

“It is hoped that their presence will strengthen the relationship between the GPCC and other key stakeholders in the religious sector,” the General Secretary  said.

As the conference draws near, the GPCC leadership encourages member churches to actively participate and engage in discussions that will ultimately benefit the collective interests of the Christian community.

The National Delegates Conference serves as a platform for unity, collaboration, and empowerment, reaffirming the council’s commitment to advancing the Kingdom of God in Ghana.
