Ho Municipal Chief Executive Calls on Believers to Assume Political Leadership for Transformation

The Ho Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Divine Bosson, has called on believers to take up political leadership roles to help transform the nation morally and economically.

Hon. Bosson emphasized the importance of Christians taking up leadership positions to make a positive impact and fulfill the mandate of Christ.

Giving a solidarity message during the GPCC Volta Regional delegates conference at Paradise International Chapel, Ho, he said, “It is time for believers to assume political leadership to make a difference in our country.”

Hon. Bosson stated, “that is the only way to fulfill the mandate of Christ.” He highlighted that when Christians embrace their roles, they will prioritize righteousness over party affiliations, leading with integrity and doing what is right before God.

Living Christ-Like Life

Hon. Bosson urged Christians to be Christ-like in all life situations, reflecting His love and teachings. “Don’t say one thing today and another tomorrow,” he cautioned.

Referring to the Bible, he said, “Christians are the light of the world and should not hide their light under bushel.”

He also addressed the issue of conflicts among pastors over the flock, stressing the need for unity and a common goal. “If we have Christ in us, we will know we are one and share a common mission,” he said.

Hon. Bosson encouraged believers to seek spiritual growth, love, and humility. He also pointed out that some pastors have become overly politically inclined and urged them to refocus on God and their spiritual duties.

The call to action by the Ho MCE resonated with many attendees, highlighting the potential for significant positive change when believers take on leadership roles with a Christ-centered approach.

Hon. Bosson’s message serves as a reminder of the powerful impact that faith-driven leadership can have on society.
