GPCC General Secretary speaks at the 46th General Council Meeting of the Church of Pentecost

The General Secretary of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), Apostle Immanuel Nii Okuley Tettey, has delivered a thought-provoking speech at the 46th General Council Meeting of the Church of Pentecost, which is ongoing at Gomoah Fetteh in the Central Region.

The event was attended by various Christian leaders and Reverend Ministers of the Church Pentecost from across the country, who had gathered to discuss critical issues affecting the growth and development of the Church in Ghana.

Speech

In his speech, Apostle Tettey emphasized the need for Christians to be bold and confident in their faith and to be proactive in carrying out the Great Commission.

The theme for the meeting, “Reposition the local church for maximum impact in the nations,” is timely and appropriate for the body of Christ, he said.

“The GPCC stands with the Church of Pentecost as we seek the mind of Christ and pursue the mandate of his Christ,” he said.

The General Secretary mentioned that the Church is God’s instrument for propagating the gospel and for the redemption of mankind and Himself.

Adding that, this must be the key focus and the occupation universally and for the Church of Pentecost.

Apostle Tettey also spoke about the importance of unity and collaboration among Christian denominations in Ghana, stating that it was essential for the growth and development of the church.

“We must work together as one body of Christ, regardless of our denominational affiliations,” he said. “We must put aside our differences and focus on our shared mission of spreading the Gospel to all nations.”

About the General Council Meeting

The speech received a positive response from the attendees, who applauded Apostle Tettey for his insightful words and encouraged him to continue advocating for the growth and development of the church in Ghana.

The Church of Pentecost’s 46th Council Meeting is an annual event that brings together Christian leaders to discuss critical issues affecting the church in Ghana and to strategize on ways to address them. The meeting provides an opportunity for attendees to network, share experiences, and learn from each other, with the aim of strengthening the church and advancing the Kingdom of God.

The 46th Session of the General Council Meetings will involve the election of the Chairman, General Secretary, and four Executive Council Members and reviews, transfers, and appointments into various roles in The Church of Pentecost.
