Touching on the expectation of member churches, Rev. Barrigah noted that, members should expect a divine encounter because “this year’s meeting is a very significant one since it marks the 50th anniversary of our journey as a Council.”
He said participants should expect golden jubilee blessings as ordained by the Lord and also be ready to receive fresh anointing, fresh empowerment and fresh oil from God.
“We are blessed as a Council to have some of the divinely anointed Apostolic Fathers of our days who are well groomed and well prepared to impact into the lives of the Heads of churches who will be attending. It is going to be a wonderful time with the presence of the Lord. I therefore want to use this opportunity to encourage every head of Church of the Council to bring along their General Secretaries as well as one other Executive Member of their Church Council to come to be anointed for the task ahead,” Rev. Barrigah said.
Speakers at the Conference include, President of GPCC, Rev. Prof Paul Frimpong-Manso, the 1st Vice President, Rt. Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, member of the National Executive Council , Rev. Celebrating 50 years
Stressing on the theme for the Conference, which is “Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council: Celebrating 50 Years of Pentecostal Influence”- (Acts 2).
The General Secretary noted that, the existence of the Council for 50 years now has influenced lives to a very large extent in the spiritual and on the national development landscape.
“As a Council, we have done a lot so we are celebrating what we have been able to achieve for the past 50 years, he said.
He advised that, it is very important that churches belong to a Council where they could learn from the experiences of other church denominations and get good fellowship which would help their own churches to grow and urged churches that are not part of any Council to join a Council to grow in fellowship.
