A member of the National Executive Council (NEC) of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), Most Rev. Charles Agyinasare has urged Christians to grow in knowledge of God this year so they could experience an increase in all aspects of life.
According to him, so far as human beings grow physically, Christians must grow spiritually and be full of the word of God.
Speaking at a service last Sunday, Most Rev. Agyinasare noted that, it is abnormal for a person to cease growing and called on Christians to ensure they experience growth on all sides.
The man of God pointed out that, Christians could only grow in knowledge of God if they intentionally and consistently study the word of God, adding that Christians must frequently read his anointed books and listen to his anointed messages among other recommended books of God.
This, he said would empower them and guide their ways to prosper in life.
“We must increase in physical stature and spiritually to grow to become very strong,” he said.
Making reference to the word of God, he cited from Luke 2: 52, saying, “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”
Most Reverend Agyinasare stressed, the more Christians become knowledgeable of God’s word, the more they would grow in wisdom and make a great impact.
“This year, Christians will accomplish great things because, God will give them productive ideas so you should get closer to your bible to know more about God,” the man of God prophesied.
God will flourish you
The Most Reverend who is also the Presiding Bishop and Founder of Perez Chapel International mentioned that, the more Christians grow in the knowledge of God, they would grow in Character.
“We must grow in the expression and recognition of Christ in our lives as we grow in character,” he urged.
In increasing in Knowledge of God, he said, Christians would be fruitful in every good works as the body of Christ.
“Jesus must increase in our lives and we must decrease. When Jesus increases in our lives, the world will give praises to His name,” he advised.
Revealing some of the plans as the leader of the Church, he disclosed that, this year, they would plant more churches across the world because, they would do more evangelism, embark on outreach programmes among other religious activities.
“As I am speaking, Perez Chapel has started in Bangladesh. 2019, we will consciously go to places and the Lord Himself would cause us to spread his word,”
Quoting from Act 16: 5, he said, “So the churches were strengthened in the faith and grew daily in numbers.”
Growth he said was not automatic and asked Christians to be planted and committed in the house of the Lord so they could flourish, as well as allow the word of God to grow in them so they will memorise the word of God and read the bible as never before.
“If there is any year that you would be more committed, it should be this year,” he challenged Christians.
