The General Overseer and Founder of Glory and Hope Ministry, Apostle Sampson Adjei Berko has urged Christians to have confidence in the Lord believing that their future is secured.
He advised that, Christians should abide in the love of the Lord, have faith in Him and stop trusting in their own understanding for the Lord to supply their needs.
Speaking in an interview with GPCC NEWS, he mentioned that most Christians look at their current situation to take decisions, while others worry over their current unpleasant situation. Apostle Berko advised that, God wants Christians to stand firm and have faith in him no matter the circumstances they go through.
“God wants to reveal himself to you in some situation, but you allow the worries and storms of life sway you too much. Take heart, this is not what you will be for life, things will get well soon,” he encouraged.
Apostle Berko who is a member of Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) indicated that, he did not become an Apostle out of the blue, but had to go through tough times and challenges to get to his current position, and encouraged people not to give up because God will definitely come to their aid.
“Do you think this is how your life will remain, then have a change of mind and put all your trust and confidence in God so he could do new things in your life,” he advised.
According to the man of God, “the things we see will not stay long but the one we do not see stay forever,” he said.
Apostle Berko explained that, no one knows his or her future but one could see his/her future by faith, adding that, “by faith we can see Heaven but no one on this earth has ever been to heaven.”
He indicated that the devil would cause men to doubt God in order to draw them away through discouragement and put diversions, but God will always want people to believe in His perspective about them.
Have a Dream
Touching on vision, he mentioned that, Christians could only achieve all their earthly desires and dreams if only they have vision because, where there is no vision, people get frustrated and likely to sway to any direction which may not be right for them.
He urged Christians to begin to have vision so that God would grant them divine direction.
“God loves you so much to the extent that, he has already done or created all what you will need on this earth. Therefore, the only thing you will need is faith and perseverance.” He said.
