A Reverend Minister from Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI), Rev. Justice Ebenezer Aboagye has commended the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) for the annual GPCC Week celebration because it promotes unity among Christians.
According to him, when Christians congregate by coming together from different churches annually, it helps them network and know other reverend ministers of God which bring unity in the body of Christ.
“For the first time I am meeting some of the ministers in the vicinity, I never knew them and they never knew me, therefore doing this I think will strengthen the leadership of GPCC at various levels,” he said.
In a side-line interview at a GPCC week celebration programme, Rev Aboagye said GPCC members at the sub zone should have a sense of belongingness and also a stronger bond of members.
“The weekly celebration we do not joke with it at all. I pray the rest of the days they will come in their numbers so they can enjoy the maximum benefits as Christians,” he said.
He stressed that, it is important to promote unity in Christianity, and that GPCC member churches should take the celebration seriously so that together “we can give greater glory to God.”
The Man of God mentioned that, coming together to fellowship as one body helps individuals to learn from one another.
Recommending ways religious bodies could contribute to address the sanitation menace in the country, the man of God mentioned that, as part of the GPCC week celebration, they could climax it with clean up exercise.
This, he said would promote cleanliness which should be a national concern, adding that it would go a long way to address outbreaks of deadly diseases in the country.
Doing this continually, Rev Aboagye mentioned that, would inculcate cleanliness especially among the youth and Ghanaians as a whole.
Advising Christians, he noted that Christians must rise up because there is a whole lot of rot on the ascendency.
“When you read the newspapers or watch television, there are a lot of things defiling Christianity, therefore we need to rise up,” he said.
Rev. Aboagye said Christians must project Christ where ever they are since “we are really in the End Time and we need a lot of people to be saved.”
“As we come to together as a Christian body, we need to find ways to win the unchecked or the unsaved soul into the vineyard,” he suggested.
