Theme for the Year
Speaking on the theme for the year, “Practical Holy Living: Evidence of a Transformed Life”, he cautioned Christians to live a holy life since “the time that we find ourselves is evil. “
Highlighting the theme, he explained that, in order to live physically fit, the individual must clean their environment and stay hygienic as well as live according to the word of God to stay spiritually fit.
The Man of God indicated that, “the environment we find ourselves has so much filth t such as indecent dressing, fornication, lies and the like but no matter how worst it gets, Christians should keep the word of God in their heart to confront the filth.”
He said Christians needed to live according to the word of God to overcome any sin and also be healthy spiritually.
Rev. Barrigah cautioned Christians to flee from fornication which he said was very common among the youth, and live a life of purity and chastity
The General Secretary also took the gathering through the Five –Year Strategic Plan of the council and urged them to play a collective role in achieving the strategic plan.
Touching on the strategic plan, Rev. Barrigah indicated that, the Council would want to increase its relevance and visibility while integrating Information Communication Technology (ICT) into the activities to achieve its purpose and mandate.
The General Secretary pointed out that, there is also a need to strengthen the internal capacity to achieve programme priorities and urged members to support the vision the Council.
