The Second Vice President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) Apostle Dr. Stephen Kwame Amoani has urged Ministers of God to live a life of integrity asking them to reflect the life of Christ by spending more time with the word of God.
Speaking at the 2018 Conference of Heads of Churches and Organisations, held at the Pentecost Convention Centre, Gomoa Fetteh, Apostle Amoani noted that holiness is the pre-requisite to access the power of God.
Touching on the need for Ministers of the Gospel to live a holy life, he mentioned that, the title alone as a Minister of God is holy, therefore they need to lead a holy life which is pleasant and acceptable to God.
“Being a Pastor alone is difficult because the father we are serving is invisible, therefore it is difficult to know whether you are pleasing him or not,” he said.
Apostle Amoani stated that, for a leader to live a life of integrity, the person should understand the need to live a holy life.
Highlighting on the importance of holiness, he stressed that, holiness makes Christians have the nature and character of God, adding that, holiness is the basis of God’s action in the life of the believer.
“The Church cannot live in sin and experience the power of God,” Apostle Amoani said.
Apostle Amoani who is the Chairman of the Christ Apostle Church International advised that, if ministers of the Gospel would allow the power of God to operate in their lives and do not trust in their own understanding, they would experience signs and wonders.
“I pray that every church will experience signs and wonders,” he said.
The Man of God challenged Ministers of God to live a distinct and exemplary life where members would follow, adding that, some ministers of God live life which is very questionable and is not pleasant to God and urged Christians to endeavour to abide by the teachings of Christ and live lives of integrity and sanctity.
